Privacy Notice Generator

Departments and units that create privacy notices for their web content can use the Website Privacy Notice Generator. Some units have fairly simple practices regarding the data they collect, and others can be incredibly complex. Wherever you are on that spectrum, we’ve tried to make this process as straightforward as possible.

Privacy Notice Policy

The Privacy Notice Generator was developed to support Policy ISPP-24: Web Site, Web Application, and Web Services Privacy Notices. The University Information Policy Office worked with appropriate parties at IU, including the Office of the Vice President and General Counsel, to ensure the base language is correct and sound for most units.
