If you have a new system that will contain institutional data and access will be assigned to multiple units across the institution, this system must be registered in the Enterprise Information Governance (EIG) inventory. This inventory documents the data steward and data manager assigned to manage access along with the training required for accessing the system. A unit must go through the Software and Services Selection Process (SSSP) before adding the to EIG inventory. For more information about the process, see the IU Knowledge Base (IU Login required).
You can also collaborate in Microsoft Teams at IU with external contacts to share files external to IU.
