Biography
Juliet Aders oversees the Data Administration program at IU working under the direction of the Chief Privacy Officer, Chief Information Security Officer and the University Data Management Council (UDMC). Before moving into this role, she served as the student data steward and managed FERPA compliance for the university. She has worked in both the corporate (IBM) and public sectors with expertise in data privacy, IT security governance, vendor risk management, and has served as one of the university's FERPA experts for more than 15 years. Juliet earned degrees in Management Information Systems and has a MS in Information Science from Indiana University. She has also earned her CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) certification.
