Biography
Anthony Newman serves as the executive director of the Research and Education Networks Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC). Anthony is an established leader whose current work is primarily focused on accelerating innovation in higher ed and cybersecurity.
Before joining Indiana University, Anthony served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Purdue University. Anthony holds degrees in computer science and management, an MBA from Purdue University, and several technical certifications. In addition to his work at the university, Anthony regularly collaborates with schools, non-profits, and private companies in areas of leadership, innovation, and process improvement. He has held a variety of technical and leadership positions in higher education, government, and consulting.
