On Tuesday, August 1, we will be enabling Duo Verified Push for all IU staff for services including IU Login. Duo Verified Push provides additional protection against attackers sending unsolicited Duo pushes to you trying to gain access to your IU account.
When you log in to an application that uses Duo Verified Push, you will be shown a three-digit number. You will have to enter those numbers into the Duo Mobile app on your authentication device (usually a smart phone) to approve the push. If you use the "Remember Me" checkbox, you will not be asked for another verified push for 30 days on that device.
